Project Profile: Beacon Providing Construction Consulting Services For Luxury Highrise Building Project in NYC

Upon termination of a precast concrete installer, Beacon Consulting Group was retained by a leading Surety to take over and manage the installation of architectural precast concrete panels on a high-profile building construction project in New York City. The 35-story residential building is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Elizabeth Paquet is managing the project for Beacon, working together with the Precast Fabricator. As of this writing, Beacon is helping to manage the completion on this highly technical Concrete Panel installation. Click below for photos and more information about this unique project.

Meeting Highlights & Photos: Jan. 2023 ABA Fidelity & Surety Law Midwinter Conference

Beacon President Dennis O'Neill and Assistant Project Manager Myat Cyn were both panel speakers at this year's ABA Fidelity & Surety Law Committee (FSLC) Midwinter Conference held January 18-20, 2023 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. Dennis participated on a panel which discussed "The Evolving Landscape of Construction Risk Management & The Priority of Effectively Handling Change." Myat's panel focused on "Effectively Presenting Claims: The Subcontractor Dilemma." Both Dennis and Myat provided the Construction Consultant's perspective related to effective approaches for resolving issues during and following a contractor default.
