Mr. Jim Bruno has recently attained status as a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO). The MCPPO is widely recognized as an indication of familiarity with Massachusetts procurement practices and is a requirement on many municipal building projects. The MCPPO Certification is obtained by satisfying educational and experience requirements, and also successfully completing the MCPPO seminar and exam process.
Dennis O'Neill, president of Beacon Consulting Group, Inc., was among the approximately 42,000 athletes who participated in the 2009 ING New York City Marathon on Sunday November 1, 2009. The 26.2 mile course began on the Staten Island end of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, flowed through Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx, and finished in Central Park in Manhattan.

The USGBC developed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system, which provides a system of standards for environmentally sustainable construction. LEED accreditation indicates an individual’s thorough understanding of green building practices and principles, and also the LEED rating system. This accreditation is achieved by completing the credentialing and exam process which is administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).
