Staff News & Events: Women in Surety Host Networking & Golf Social Event
Beacon Project Engineer Myat Cyn joined a dyamic group of women from the Surety world for an evening of networking and fun on June 26th. The organization Women in Surety hosted the networking event at The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers (NYC). More than 20 members attended the event which included networking, driving range practice, and golf tips and instruction from PGA/LPGA Golf Pro Marjorie Jones.
The Women in Surety organization was founded in November of 2016 as a forum for networking, education, professional development, and mentoring. The organization has held a number of events and activities since its inception. The group's active committees include: Education; Events & Planning; Membership & Communications; and Mentorship Program.
