Beacon Consulting Group was retained by a leading Surety company to help monitor and ensure the completion of a number of electrical projects on Long Island, NY. Beacon’s team was called into action by the Surety when a bonded electrical subcontractor was in jeopardy of not being able to complete several large contracts in Nassau County, NY, including large electrical contracting projects at several municipal water treatment facilities.
Among the services provided by Beacon:
- Evaluating the status (and cost to complete) related to multiple ongoing projects
- Monitoring (and facilitating) the progress on the completion of the projects on behalf of the Surety
- Assisting Surety in funds monitoring and financial reviews
- Assisting with project communications on behalf of the Surety
The overall contracted work is greater the $33 million in value. The total number of projects involved is 34, including 14 active projects and approximately 20 which have reached substantial completion.
