I hope your summer is off to a good start. It's hard to believe we are already halfway through 2022 (our 20th year in business). June was a busy, highly productive month for Beacon. Our team members (including myself) spent many days and weeks traveling to construction project sites around the country to help our clients track and manage a wide range of projects.

Last week, I had the chance to participate in the Surety Claims Institute's 47th annual meeting held in beautiful Asheville, NC, along with Beacon VPs Jim Bruno and John Yeung. It was great to get away for a couple of days. The meeting was held at the historic mountainside hotel, The Omni Grove Park Inn. This is a famous spot visited by many U.S. Presidents. It's famous for its unique location, architecture, and the incredible views of the surrounding Great Smoky Mountains.

This year, I am once again serving as Treasurer for the SCI. I am really proud of the great job done by everyone involved in this year's SCI meeting. The presentations were excellent, as were the networking and leisure activities. If you missed it this year, I would highly recommend registering for next year's SCI meeting to be held in Cambridge, Maryland, a beautiful town located in the Eastern Shore region (right on the Choptank River which leads out to the Chesapeake Bay).
