President's Message, January 2025
Happy New Year! I hope 2025 is off to a strong start for you.
Earlier this month, several members of the Beacon Consulting Group team had the privilege of attending the 2025 Midwinter Meeting of the ABA's Fidelity & Surety Law Committee (FSLC) in Austin, Texas (held January 15-17). As always, the FSLC Midwinter Meeting was an exceptional event filled with valuable insights from industry leaders, great presentations, panel discussions, and plenty of opportunities to connect with our clients, friends, and partners.
Beacon was proud to co-sponsor a couple of fantastic events during the conference, including our now-famous Irish Lunch on the final day, which was co-hosted by Adrian D'Arcy (of D'Arcy Vicknair) and me. It was great to see so many familiar faces and make new connections. If you couldn’t make it to Austin, I hope to catch you at another upcoming industry event, such as the FSLC's Spring Surety Conference in Isle of Palms, South Carolina (May 21-23, 2025). Be sure to check Beacon’s calendar for updates and details.
This month’s Beacon E-newsletter features an insightful article on Construction Site Security by Beacon Vice President Jim Bruno. It’s a timely topic that highlights strategies for safeguarding construction projects from a variety of possible threats, including theft and vandalism. In the E-news section of our website, you’ll also find updates on Beacon projects and news about our growing team.
Finally, I want to thank all of our clients and partners for your continued trust and collaboration. As we step into 2025, our commitment to helping all of our clients resolve complex construction challenges remains stronger than ever. We’re here to support you and ensure every project has the best possible outcome.
Wishing you a productive and prosperous start to the year. Let’s make 2025 a great one!
Best regards,
Dennis O'Neill, President
Beacon Consulting Group, Inc.
