This message marks the rare calendar date which comes every 4 years (leap year) - February 29th. I had to use Google to remember why we have leap year, but it's because the earth actually takes 365 days and 6 hours to orbit the sun (not exactly 365 days). That extra quarter of a day has to get accounted for somewhere. So every four years, we add 24 hours (four times six hours) to the calendar at the end of February. It's pretty impressive that ancient civilizations as far back as the Roman Empire (45 BC) had figured out the need for that extra day every 4 years!

Speaking of important calendar dates, March 3rd is coming up next week. This year, March 3rd marks Beacon's 21st anniversary in business. It's incredible how fast 21 years has flown by, but I am really proud of everything our team has accomplished over the past 2+ decades. It's an honor to work as part of the great team we have built and to serve our many amazing clients across the U.S.
