Staff News: Beacon Bids A Fond Farewell to Karen Anderson, Our First Retiree
After nearly 19 years in business, Beacon finally held its first staff member retirement party on July 23rd on a beautiful summer evening in Charlestown (Boston, MA). On that night, we celebrated our first retiree, Karen Anderson, who has been a key member of Beacon's team for more than 14 years. Although we are going to miss her tremendously, we could not be happier for Karen and her husband Greg as she transitions into an active, happy, and healthy retirement.
In true Beacon style, we celebrated Karen's retirement with a great party, held on the waterfront at Boston's Pier 6 restaurant in Charlestown, located directly on Boston Harbor. Luckily, the weather was perfect that evening. That fact, combined with much laughter, good food, and good company made it a night to remember (see photos below).
Karen, thank you for your many years of hard work, friendship, and ever-present professionalism. We are all going to miss you very much!
