In early February, Dennis O'Neill and friends participated in the 15th Annual New England Pond Hockey Classic. The Beacon Bears traveled to Central New Hampshire to compete in the 3-day pond hockey tournament held on Lake Waukewan. Once again, the Bears participated in the “TWIG Recreational Division” where each team has a maximum roster size of 8 players (age 21 and up). Although the Bears didn't win their division, they displayed outstanding sportsmanship, courage, and fortitude on the ice...
Happy 2024! Our team will be in New Orleans this month (Jan. 24-26) for the ABA's Fidelity & Surety Law (FSLC) Midwinter Meeting. This is always a great conference and Beacon will be co-hosting some fun after-hours events in conjunction with the meeting. Please come see me, Elizabeth Paquet, and Kieran O’Connor as we participate in the conference's Construction Program. Please click below for more info...

On behalf of everyone here at Beacon Consulting Group, I would like to wish you the very best for 2024.
May the New Year bring you joy, success, and new opportunities! Cheers!
To all of our clients, friends, and partners:
Happy Holidays!
We hope you have a relaxing & peaceful weekend.
It's hard to believe that 2023 is almost done! I'd like to say a big Thank You to all of our clients who put their trust in Beacon this year and to all of our incredible staff members who have worked so hard to make this year a successful one for our company.
For Beacon Consulting Group, 2023 was a special year. Not only did we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, but we also had one of our busiest years yet, added new staff members, and worked on interesting construction consulting assignments across the U.S. Since our inception in 2003, Beacon has strived to be a leader in the U.S. Construction Consulting field. We have done this by hiring and developing the best possible staff, building repeatable systems for managing and turning around construction projects, and offering a focused set of valuable construction-related consulting services.

On December 7th and 8th, Beacon's team came together in Boston to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and hold our annual corporate meeting and holiday party. It was a truly memorable two days, with our corporate meeting held at the beautiful Omni Hotel in Boston's Seaport District. The festivities kicked off on Thursday night with great drinks, food, and competitive darts at "The Flight Club." Please click below for full article...
I hope your Fall is going well. Please check out this month's Beacon E-news for updates on our projects, staff, and general construction news, including a staff profile of Simon Gallagher who joined our team in January of 2023. Another interesting item in this month's newsletter is an article about the incredible "Sphere" arena which opened in Las Vegas recently (with U2 performing the inaugural concert on Sept. 29th). The Sphere is an amazing feat of architecture, construction engineering, and multi-media technology. Not only is it the largest spherical structure in the world, but it also features the largest high-definition LED screen (more than 4 acres in size).

I hope you have been having a great summer! Once again, the summer seems to have flown by. It's already "back to school" time, with many college students returning to school in the past two weeks, including my two oldest kids. My oldest daughter is a senior at Northeastern University this year and our second daughter has started her sophomore year at Syracuse University. I've always liked this time of year—maybe because I can still feel the excitement of heading back to school and the new experiences that come with that.
Here at Beacon, we are "life-long learners" because there is always something new to learn in our industry, whether it's a new construction process, new technologies or software, or emerging best practices for managing a project. For this reason, our team is actively involved in a variety of professional organizations to keep up to date on the latest trends and technologies.
This summer, our team has been busy managing construction consulting assignments across the U.S. However, all work and no play isn't healthy (especially in the summer)! In July, I had the pleasure of traveling to Ireland with good friends and family members to participate in a charity event - The 41st Annual Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle. I would like to say a big Thank You to everyone who traveled all the way to County Kerry, Ireland to participate in this great event and/or cheer on the riders. Please click here for more info and photos from that event.
