Beacon Team Participates in NYU Tandon Engineering Career Fair
Beacon Consulting Group recently participated in an Engineering Career Fair at NYU Tandon’s campus in Brooklyn, NY. Recent graduates, as well as members of the Class of 2018, were interested to learn about careers in Construction Consulting and Construction Management.
Beacon's Cebi Stough and Steve Collins worked the company's booth and met with close to 100 NYU engineering students and recent grads at the event, which was held at NYU Tandon's Brooklyn Engineering Campus (6 MetroTech Center). Students majoring in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, and Mechanical Engineering were among the attendees who visited with Beacon's team. The enthusiasm of the students and their excellent questions were impressive to say the least!
NYU's Tandon School of Engineering (formerly known as "Brooklyn Poly") was founded in 1854 as Brooklyn Collegiate and Polytechnic Institute. The school became part of NYU in 2014 and was renamed NYU Tandon School of Engineering in 2015, following a $100-million donation from philanthropists Chandrika and Ranjan Tandon.
