John Yeung is a Senior Project Manager / Senior Construction Consultant at Beacon Consulting Group. A graduate of Penn State University, where he studied mechanical and environmental engineering, John has more than 18 years of professional experience working in the construction industry, including Senior Project Manager, Surety Consultant and Expert Witness. John also holds a Graduate Certificate in Construction Management from New York University. John is based in Beacon’s New York City office where he plays a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and institutional construction consulting projects.
John’s extensive project management and construction consulting experience spans a wide range of projects within the education, transit, retail, residential, government, commercial and healthcare sectors. His substantial construction knowledge and analytical background allows him to perform a variety of roles, from field supervisor to project manager, for clients ranging from surety to construction companies to government agencies.
John’s ability to act as liaison between owners, principals and subcontractors has been instrumental to his success in resolving project conflicts and coordinating solutions for troubled projects.
