Beacon Staff News: Congratulations and Best Wishes To Beacon Project Engineer Aldrich Mendes and His Bride Cynthia

Our congratulations and best wishes go out to Aldrich Mendes and his wife Cynthia who were married on June 30th.

Aldrich is a Project Engineer based out of Beacon's Medford, MA office. He joined Beacon in 2016 and is a great addition to our team. Aldrich helps provide outstanding service to Beacon's clients on construction consulting and surety consulting projects in the Greater Boston area and beyond. Aldrich attended Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he graduated from the Civil Engineering Technology program. At Beacon, he has been playing a key role assisting on the MBTA Assembly Square Station project and on a condominium fire rehabilitation project.

More About Aldrich:

Aldrich has more than three years of experience as a staff civil engineer. His background includes developing engineering workscopes/specifications for various field work, conducting site designs, and designing structural components related to the operation of natural gas facilities. In addition, he has been a field construction inspector, involved with the inspection of foundation work, sub-surface components/systems, and general construction of gas metering and regulating facilities.

Aldrich is an energetic and highly motivated individual with extensive experience with various software applications including: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch Up, MS Excel, and MS Office.

In his free time, Aldrich enjoys working on and restoring cars. His current project car is a late-990s BMW. Aldrich also loves playing basketball and actively participates in men's leagues. Last, but not least, Aldrich is an active member of his church. He is thankful for his deep faith and the many blessings in his life.
