Beacon Selected For NYC Construction Monitoring Project
Beacon Consulting Group, Inc. has been selected to provide construction monitoring services related to a new, 22-story construction project underway in Manhattan. The new building is being developed by GDSNY (based in NYC) in partnership with Klövern, a Sweden-based real estate development and management company.
Beacon Consulting Group, Inc. has been selected to provide construction monitoring services related to a new construction project underway in Manhattan. The new 22-story tower is being built in the NoMad section of New York City. NoMad refers to "North of Madison Square Park." Groundbreaking took place in January of 2019.
The new building is being developed by GDSNY (based in NYC) in partnership with Klövern, a Sweden-based real estate development and management company. When complete, the building will include 200,000 square feet of office space and 7,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The new building was designed by the firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). It is being constructed to meet LEED silver standards. Construction is expected to be completed at the end of 2020.
