Beacon Provides Construction Consulting Services for Multiple School Renovation Projects (Long Island, NY)
Upon the termination of a Contractor performing an architectural and interior renovation of three separate elementary schools on Long Island, NY, Beacon Consulting Group was retained to assess the status of work and assist the surety with a mitigation strategy. Beacon's VP John Yeung took the lead role on this project, with support by Myat Cyn, Assistant Project Manager and other team members.
Services provided by Beacon on the project included:
- Preparation of a cost-to-complete analysis
- Analysis of payment bond claims
- Assessment of issues at the project sites
- Preparation of a bid package
- Bid analysis and advising regarding Surety regarding potential completion contractors
