Beacon President Dennis O'Neill and Assistant Project Manager Myat Cyn were both panel speakers at this year's ABA Fidelity & Surety Law Committee (FSLC) Midwinter Conference held January 18-20, 2023 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. Dennis participated on a panel which discussed "The Evolving Landscape of Construction Risk Management & The Priority of Effectively Handling Change." Myat's panel focused on "Effectively Presenting Claims: The Subcontractor Dilemma." Both Dennis and Myat provided the Construction Consultant's perspective related to effective approaches for resolving issues during and following a contractor default.

Also in attendance at this year's FSLC Midwinter Conference were Beacon VPs John Yeung and Kieran O'Connor, as well as Elizabeth Paquet, Surety & Construction Consultant. As always, it was great to reconnect with so many clients, friends, and business partners. Beacon Consulting Group co-sponsored some great networking events in conjunction with the conference, including our annual "Irish Luncheon." Special thanks go out to Shields | Mott LLP (especially Adrian D’Arcy) for co-hosting this year's luncheon once again.
